Testimonials
I have been fortunate to work with and for some fantastic people over the years. This is what some of them have to say:
Parent
Richard worked with my son, who has SEND needs, during primary school, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He consistently showed patience, humour, and genuine kindness, and always found creative ways to engage and inspire him. Most importantly, he helped my son believe in himself and realise that he could achieve whatever he set his mind to. Richard is dependable, approachable, and a genuinely lovely person - any student would be lucky to learn with him.

Head Teacher
As Headteacher, I appointed Mr Tull to teach an unusual mixed Year 4/5 class, a role he approached with flexibility, enthusiasm and professionalism. He embraced new challenges with confidence and brought particular strength to the performing arts, especially singing, enriching the curriculum and raising pupils’ engagement. Mr Tull consistently encouraged children to step outside their comfort zones, supporting them to develop confidence and thrive both academically and creatively.

My son had a fantastic year learning with Mr Tull. His enthusiasm for teaching really shone through, and it made a huge difference in my son’s confidence and enjoyment of school. One thing that stood out was his incredible musical talent he brought music into the classroom in such a fun and inspiring way. It created a positive atmosphere, encouraged creativity, and became something the kids genuinely looked forward to each week. We’re truly grateful for the impact he had throughout the year.

Supply Agency
I've been working with Rich now for half a term. He is professional, organised and communicates well at all times - just what's needed as a supply teacher.
So far, he has worked in two schools for me with brilliant feedback. One who emailed to say, "We have thoroughly enjoyed having Mr Tull with us today and look forward to him being back with us next week."

Mr Tull taught my son in Year 3 and honestly, he made a huge difference. At the end of Year 2, my son was a little behind where he needed to be, but after a year with Mr Tull, he came on in absolute leaps and bounds. His confidence grew, his academics improved massively and for the first time, he actually started to enjoy learning - even reading for pleasure.
During that year, my son also lost his Grandad. The support that Mr Tull gave him was incredible. He went above and beyond, not just as a teacher, but as someone who genuinely cared.
My son still says Mr Tull is the best teacher he's ever had. We think so too which is why he now has tuition sessions with him to help prepare for his SATs.
We couldn't recommend him more!

Richard is absolutely fantastic! My son was lucky to have him as his teacher one year and he still says that Mr Tull is the greatest teacher he has ever had. He is so happy that he's doing private tutoring so he can help him with his SATs.
